Ariana Grande has reached top flight once more with new studio album, "Sweetener".
Sweetener is the pop star's fourth studio album and is topping the Billboard 200 chart, making it the third album from the petit singer to accomplish this height after selling 231,000 equivalent album units.
Released on Aug. 17 via Republic Records, the new project ended the week of Aug. 23 with the 231,000 units with 127,000 from traditional album sales. The album is also the second-largest debut for an album by a woman this year following Cardi B's "Invasion Of Privacy," which debuted with 255,000 units.
The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week in the U.S. based on multi-metric consumption as measured in equivalent album units. Units are comprised of traditional album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums (SEA). The new Sept. 1-dated chart (where Sweetener launches at No. 1) will be posted in full on Billboard's websites on Tuesday, Aug. 28.
