Emerging vocal talent Neave Zaria has released her latest single, "You Saved Me", her second this year following her debut single "If I See You" in March of this year.
From London, England, Zaria has been performing from a very young age and has been creating quite a buzz to industry ears so much so that she was invited to attend X Factor Bootcamp aged just 14.
Zaria was a musical prodigy from a very young age singing for family and friends for many years and developing her unique trademark smoky soulful voice. Young Zaria aspired to be a great vocalist and the likes of great female artists such as Amy Winehouse had a profound effect on her – as she says herself: “I can remember singing along to Amy when I was about 7 or 8, she had one of the greatest female voices I’ve ever heard. It still gives me goosebumps now. I want my music to inspire people like great singers who inspired me. I want to touch people emotionally because that’s what music is to me, it’s a language of the soul”.
‘You Saved Me’ is accompanied by a video shot on the cool streets of Shoreditch in London, UK. It was inspired by a meeting with an individual whose positive inspiration pulled her out of a tough time in her life. The song is also another powerful and emotional showcase for her soulful voice, which has been compared to Adele. Neave is continuing to record material and has several more songs lined up for release over the coming months, with an EP due in the autumn.
