Following a pair of Drake's Fake Love and Sneakin' remixes last month, Fifth Harmony's Normani Kordei does justice to two of Solange's songs for year 2017.
This past Thursday (Jan. 5), Normani dropped a mash-up of Solange's "Don't Touch My Hair" and "Cranes In The Sky."
"I was inspired by Solange’s album, A Seat at The Table, from the moment that I heard it," she told USA Today. "She has clearly taken the time to create a unique body of work and emote through her music from a true place."
Over melodic sounds and snaps, Normani blends each cut seamlessly into one, providing an ode to Solange and another display of her vocals. With range, Kordei shows that she’s able to harmonize when she’s on her own as well.
Last month Camila Cabello, one of the five girls that makes Fifth Harmony announced her departure from the group. Though the group stated Camila left without warning, she did confirmed the departure but deny their claim. The remaining members of the group have decided to move on and continue working as a unit.
