Mary J. Blige is ready for the release of her 13th studio album, "Strength Of A Woman."
The Queen of Hip-Hop Soul announced via a Tweet yesterday an April 28 release date for the upcoming new album and also, she revealed the album's cover art which portrays her sitting on a golden throne.
When released, it will be Blige's first album in 3-years following her 2014's The London Sessions.
"We find that strength in us to not just survive these trials, but to thrive, to live, to get something out of it to not make the same mistakes again," Blige said.
Blige has released two previous singles from the forthcoming 4/28 album, "Thick Of It," which was inspired by her recent divorce from her husband of 12-years and "U + Me (Love Lesson)," which was also about her relationship.
