Florida bred R&B upcoming artist Trumaine Lamar has released his latest EP, "Songs from Earth".
Released May 1st, Songs From Earth was inspired when news and action regarding the current pandemic spread, causing the world to stand still. "This EP is a direct reflection of emotions, feelings, and actions that I have felt, encountered, or done during these times", said Lamar.
Inspired by artists such as Stevie Wonder, Musiq Soulchild, Brandy, and more, The Nebraska born rising star is mounting his own unique path of musical expression which is evident in his latest EP.
Growing up with a mother as a Minister of Music, Lamar was bitten by the music bug at a very early age. Singing in the choir soon became teaching parts, leading songs and eventually writing, producing, and arranging. Since then, he has been crafting tunes as a producer, writer, and vocal artist.
Lamar has shared the stage with artists like Charlie Wilson, Anthony Hamilton, Jill Scott, Lalah Hathaway & more.
