London-born and based, R&B/HipHop artist Harrison Walker has spent the last year meticulously crafting his unique take on contemporary R&B and trap. The result is Shoot Me Down, a single that’s as dark as it is vulnerable and set for a January 29th release.
It comes after years of co-writing for talents including NaMo, Tr33, and Eden Morissey, and a desire to create music for himself.
Drawing from influences including EDEN, brakence, and Santino Le Saint, the upcoming single Shoot Me Down is the result of four months in the studio and marks the next step in Harrison’s solo endeavours. “Shoot Me Down marks the start of a new personal creative movement,” says Harrison. “After two years of writing for other artists, I felt now was the right time for me to introduce people to
something that’s distinctly mine,” he added.
Walker is a London based musician with a passion for pushing the boundaries of sound. Inspired by the likes of Santino Le Saint and brakence, he describes his style as melodic trap, has performed at a number of venues in and outside of the city and is currently working on his debut EP.
Shoot Me Down will be available on VMN Music on 29th January 2021. Listen to Harrison Walker's music below.
